This week, we welcome back The Terre Haute Children’s Museum for some fun science. First, something you might have seen before – a DIY “air-zooka” that shoots air. It’s a simple demonstration of how air is matter and forces can act on it. There’s some other cool force and motion experiments, but the best is the classic “spinning a bucket around upside down and the water doesn’t fall out” trick. Sure, there’s an official science-y name for that one, but I can’t remember it right now.

Some of the old-timers who work on The Friday Zone (and maybe some of you long-time viewers) recalled that we did this same trick on the show way back in the first season – around the year 2000 – and the host at the time misunderstood the instructions… Resulting in a full bucket of water dumping all over The Friday Zone floor! And back then, the show was LIVE!
