Occasionally, The Friday Zone receives products in the mail with a request to feature them here on our blog. Earlier this fall we were happily surprised to find a fun promo pack of Febreze In-Wash Odor Eliminator in our mailbox. Of course, I know Fabreze well, and it’s a really great product that I’ve used occasionally in the car, in our living room, and in the bedroom (we have cats, after all) – but this is something completely different.

Included in the pack was two bags of a liquid detergent, with instructions to simply “Add to your favorite detergent to eliminate tough odors in a single wash.” My first concern was that this wouldn’t be compatible with our awesome high-efficiency front-load washing machine. Now, my washer is very particular about what detergent (and how much) it wants, and I’ve trained my husband to only put in a drop of soap (not a capful like your mother told you!), so I was skeptical… but right there on the front, a big yellow banner read “for ALL machines, including HE.”
And an opportunity to put this Fabreze In-Wash Odor Eliminator came up that very weekend: we went camping. Our kids played all day with their cousins and our Saturday evening was all about S’mores over a campfire. Needless to say, we had some smokey hooded sweatshirts upon our return home. Great! I can totally do a sniff test!
