This week’s show includes a neat Field Trip segment to the Indianapolis Zoo. We got the chance to meet a couple of scientists who are working with the chimpanzees at the Zoo. Chimps are super smart and we got to not only watch one play a computer game, but we got to play along! There’s a dual-computer screen set up with one screen on the chimp side of a glass partition and the other on the visitor side. It’s a sort of tic-tac-toe game and we’re proud to say the chimp only beat us twice!
There’s a couple of other Indianapolis Zoo segments coming up later in the season, including one where we meet a Sea Lion who can paint! Well, not really. He sort of just holds a brush in his mouth and nods his head at a canvas. But it’s still really cool!
